Quality management for construction machinery in civil engineering
)
Digital monitoring of construction progress, performance data and quality
Construction projects - especially for the recultivation of landscaped areas - are subject to strict regulations. In order to fulfil the requirements and at the same time control construction projects in a targeted manner, machine data must be analysed to check the quality of the work and the execution in accordance with the specifications.
For the quality management of soil compaction work in old open-cast mines in Lusatia, we have developed software for our customer SGL Spezialleistungen that significantly reduces the time required, minimises dependence on individual knowledge carriers, simplifies the management of construction projects and automates the detection of quality deviations.
The tool not only saves us time, but also allows us to see what is happening on the construction site on a daily basis and react immediately.

Other Technologies
Technological setup
From the main area of application on the construction site, the application was developed as a desktop application and was later also deployed as a web application for simpler updates for use in the head office.
Technical infrastructure at the customer
The source of the measured values are computers installed on the machines. These were processed in our backend in the customer's virtualised Windows environment and distributed to the engineering offices in the form of predefined Excel reports.
