Technical Debt AuditMake an informed modernisation decision

We review your existing application for risks and obstacles to further development. You receive an assessment and a prioritised modernisation roadmap.

How much technical debt do we have, and what needs modernising?

Technical Debt Audit assesses the existing architecture, code, integrations and operational risks and derives a prioritised modernisation roadmap: stabilise, restructure or selectively rebuild. In our audits, the biggest surprise is often the undocumented interface next to the oldest code.

What changes afterwards

  • Technical debt is identified and weighted by risk.

  • You know which problems actually slow down value creation.

  • Modernisation options are set out with effort and dependencies.

  • Immediate measures are separated from longer-term restructuring.

Typical questions

The application works, but every change takes longer than the last.
Only two people really understand the system.
We are being asked to invest, but do not know whether the foundations are sound.

When Technical Debt Audit fits

A good fit when

changes take a long time or cause side effects.
a migration, product development or investment decision is coming up.
you lack an independent assessment of architecture and risks.

Less suitable when

you need a penetration test or compliance audit.
the decision to rebuild has already been made.

Your contribution

We need access to the code, systems and the people who operate them, with one meeting each for engineering and the business team.

You do not need to prepare documentation.
